Foam Testing

Every day people have to do with foam e. g. when taking a shower, shaving, washing and not to forget when drinking beer. All those different foams have specific characteristics e.g. shaving foam should have a strong and stable foam development. In comparison, washing agents should have a defined foam development so that the washing machine does not overflow and the laundry is protected. Therefore, foam developing, stabilizing and destroying substances have to be chosen, combined and tested according to the application.

Fluorescence

The fluorescence is a special form of the luminescence. As a result, a highly energetic photon is absorbed by a molecule and sent out as a photon with a lower energy and a longer wave length. Organic layers such as oils, greases and corrosion protection materials can be inspected by measuring their fluorescence.
