The AUTO-mode of SITA Tensiometers supports an easy and quick measurement of characteristic and dynamic surface tension curves of liquids containing surface active agents (e. g. surfactants). Adjustable Parameters such as start and stop bubble lifetime, measuring point interval and averaging (median) can be set up in the parameter menu of the software.

An AUTO-measurement starts by pressing the AUTO-button in the measuring diagram. The tensiometer measures the surface tension for the adjusted bubble lifetime range automatically. Measured data will be transferred and visualized directly into the measuring diagram. The measuring curve can be saved under a chosen name. Later, the saved measuring curve can be compared to other measuring curves in a comparing diagram.
